The Influence of School Administration for Educational Institutions at VHS 15 Merangin

Schools are integrated educational institutions, where there are supporting components within an institution, this is school administration and this cannot be separated from competent personnel who can handle this matter, so to handle administration in a school institution, competent personnel are needed according to their expertise. This research aims to determine the influence of school administration services on Vocational High School (VHS) 15 Merangin students, to determine the influence of teacher administration services on VHS 15 Merangin students, and the influence of administration on the VHS 15 Merangin institution itself. In this research, researchers used quantitative research methods, with instrument testing taking place at VHS 15 Merangin. The sample used was 34 students. Data collection through questionnaires, documentation, and observation. The results of the research showed that there was a good influence of school administration services on students, namely 25 students (73.5%), and the remaining 9 students (26.5%) were influenced by other factors. There is a positive influence of teacher administrative services on students, namely 27 students (79.4%), and the remaining 7 students (20.6%) are influenced by other factors.

Development of Problem-based Learning LKPD to Improve Student Understanding

Textbooks are a vital component in the educational process, serving as essential teaching materials that aid students in achieving learning objectives and competency standards. Teachers face challenges in choosing and determining appropriate learning models, but teaching materials offer solutions to address classroom issues. These materials can be sourced from personal experience, expert opinions, colleagues, books, mass media, the internet, and more. Teaching materials facilitate students' engagement with real-life facts and experiences, enabling them to assess and develop ideas, solve problems, acquire skills, and nurture creativity. Teaching materials encompass a wide range of formats, including printed resources (such as workbooks, modules, and learning comics), audio resources (such as sound recordings), audio-visual resources (such as educational videos and cartoons), and interactive materials (such as e-workbooks and web-based resources). The success of the learning process hinges on the careful selection and development of suitable teaching materials. This development is part of scientific research aimed at creating or improving products with practical value. Nana Syaodih Sukmadinata supports this perspective, emphasizing that research and development involve steps to create new products or enhance existing ones. Students' Perceptions of Online Learning at the Universitas Terbuka

This research aims to evaluate student perceptions of the online learning experience at the Universitas Terbuka, focusing on its impact on student satisfaction, active involvement, and achievement of learning outcomes. Educational program evaluation methods are used to detail and analyze various aspects of perceptions that emerge during the online learning experience. This research involved the active participation of students from various study programs at the Universitas Terbuka. Data collection was carried out through surveys, in-depth interviews, and analysis of student reflections on online learning experiences. The evaluation results are aimed at providing in-depth insight into the extent to which online learning meets student expectations, the obstacles faced, and suggestions for improving the quality of online learning in an Universitas Terbuka environment. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide valuable information for the Universitas Terbuka in developing online learning strategies that are more effective and responsive to student needs. This evaluation focuses not only on technical aspects but also on dimensions of students' personal and academic experiences, creating a holistic educational program evaluation framework.

Drugs and Juvenile Delinquency based on Educational Research: Case Study at the Drug Rehabilitation Center of YPAP Lhokseumawe City

Drugs and juvenile delinquency are two serious problems that exist in society. Juvenile delinquency such as brawls, smoking, drinking alcohol, and promiscuity are negative behaviors that violate social norms. This research aims to analyze the factors causing education-based drug abuse among teenagers in Lhokseumawe and North Aceh, its impact, and efforts to overcome it. This research is descriptive with qualitative methods, using indicators to understand the general stages of drug users and the causal factors. The research results show that the stages of drug abuse among teenagers in Lhokseumawe and North Aceh include environmental and psychological factors. The primary data source involved nine informants, including teenagers undergoing rehabilitation, the director of the rehabilitation center, counselor staff, and the local Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), as well as the community of Gampong Ujong Blang. Secondary data consists of interviews and documentation. The snowball technique was used to determine informants. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The impacts of drug abuse include health, social, and economic. Mitigation efforts include primary and tertiary prevention programs as well as rehabilitation. This research emphasizes the importance of early intervention and strengthening the role of family and community, as well as education in preventing drug abuse among teenagers.

Using Blogs as a Medium for Learning Feature Writing Skills

Blog is a digital media many people use to express themselves and share information. In addition, blogs can be used as a medium for learning feature writing skills. This research is motivated by students' difficulties in generating story ideas, organizing stories, and balancing facts and narrative. This study aims to describe the use of learning media in the form of blogs in learning feature writing. This study is a qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, and document studies on the results of students' feature writing. Based on the data analysis, it was obtained an overview of the skills in feature writing, 15 students got grades in the good category and 5 people got grades in the fair category.

Analysis of the Effectiveness of the Indonesian Economic Heroes Program (PENA)

The Nusantara Economic Hero Program (PENA) is an initiative that aims to develop and empower local micro-business actors in various economic sectors in Indonesia. Ministry of Social Republic Indonesia has generated this program. This paper seeks to analyze the program's effectiveness in reducing poverty by empowering the economic welfare of local communities and its contribution to graduating poverty relief In this analysis, this study uses qualitative and quantitative approaches to evaluate various aspects of the PENA Program. It will analyze data on business growth, increased income, job creation, and other socio-economic impacts generated by the economic heroes involved in this program. In addition, it will also discuss the factors that influence the success of this program, including the role of government, financial support, market access, training, and availability of supporting infrastructure. Through this analysis, it is hoped that a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of the PENA can be obtained as well as recommendations for future development and improvement.

Urbane Reality: Social Footprints of Teenagers and the Search for Solutions to Deviant Behavior at VHS 5 Padang

This study aims to explore the factors that cause adolescent deviant behavior, forms of deviation that may occur, and efforts that can be made to overcome these problems. The title tries to present an interesting nuance by using words such as "Urban Reality" to highlight urban life and "Social Footprint of Adolescents" to show a focus on the social aspects of adolescent behavior. "Finding Solutions for Deviant Behavior" emphasizes that this study does not only highlight the problem but also seeks to find solutions to overcome adolescent deviant behavior. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively, using qualitative descriptive presentation techniques to describe in detail the findings found. The results of this study reveal that deviant behavior among adolescents in urban areas is increasingly a major concern. The existence of the phenomenon of drug abuse, gang brawls, drunken behavior and the tendency to smoke are increasingly disturbing forms of deviation. The study identified the motives that cause deviant behavior, including the influence of failed socialization processes, weak social control that creates a vacuum of control, and the practice of labeling or nicknames by society to certain individuals, which then triggers self-identification as deviant. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of the role of strong social control and community efforts in avoiding stigmatization that can exacerbate adolescent behavioral problems in urban areas: Vocational High School (VHS) 5 Padang.

Analysis of Computer based Management Information Systems in the Decision Making Process

Innovation of Augmented Reality (AR) Technology Applications Android based for Learning Indonesian Language Especially Learning Literary Arts

The development of science and technology has brought significant progress in education. Traditionally, learning media for recognizing objects in children is often limited to books that only contain text and pictures, which often reduces interest in learning and increases boredom. However, with the emergence of Augmented Reality (AR), we can witness a technology that can integrate virtual objects into real environments in real-time. AR can help visualize concepts and understand an object's structure by projecting it in 2D or 3D. In a learning context, AR can be an exciting innovation, allowing children to not only read the text but also see three-dimensional objects accompanied by audio and translations in various languages, such as English, Indonesian, and Mandarin. The aim of developing AR applications in Android-based language learning is to improve the learning process and enrich students' interests by presenting interactive and entertaining content. This application development method includes the stages of conceptualization, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The result of this research is a design for an AR application in language learning which is expected to continue to be improved to provide a better user experience.

The Influence of Football Coach Competition on Athlete Achievement Results

Football is a very popular sport and in demand by people worldwide, including Indonesia. However, the current achievements of Indonesian football are not yet impressive. One factor thought to influence soccer athletes' performance is competition and the quality of coaches. This research aims to determine the effect of soccer coach competition on athlete achievement results. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing related literature. The research results show that soccer coach competitions have a significant influence on athlete performance results. The higher the level of competition the coaches participate in, the better the athlete's performance results will be. This is because coaches who have experience participating in high competition will have better knowledge, skills, and coaching abilities. The implication of this research is the need for efforts to increase the competence of football coaches through increasing the level of competition they participate in, as well as adequate support and coaching from related parties that Indonesian football achievements can improve.

Evaluation of Education Planning and Financing Policies in Indonesia: Literature Study Approach

Planning is a critical process in establishing organizational goals, strategies, programs, and activities to achieve desired results effectively and efficiently. Through planning, educational goals can be determined, including financing that involves various parties such as the central, regional, and community governments. The planning process also includes the allocation of required resources, to improve the quality of education through funds such as the School Operational Assistance Fund (BOS) Program, and Educational Operational Assistance (BOP). Education costs include direct costs related to educational activities and indirect costs that support the educational environment. Financing standards are set to meet the minimum educational operational needs for one year, with components such as investment, and operational and personal costs. This research uses a library study method to collect and analyze data from secondary sources. The research results show that financing is a vital aspect of education management, involving funding from various sources to ensure the continuity and improvement of the quality of education. Efficient budget allocation can increase the effectiveness of the education system by maximizing the use of resources. Government regulations stipulate levies and donations to support basic education costs, ensuring the involvement of various parties in sustainable education financing.

The Influence of the Webbed-type Integrated Model on Students' Critical Thinking Ability in Social Sciences Material in the Field of Sociology Studies in SHS

The purpose of this research is to find out how the Webbed integrated learning paradigm influences the critical thinking abilities of Senior High School (SHS) students. This research was conducted using a one-group Pre-test-Post-test design in a pre-experimental setting. The research subjects were ten men and nine women who were class X students at SHS 12 Padang. The instruments used are test sheets and observation sheets. The critical thinking ability test consists of two stages, namely Pre-test and Post-test. Based on research, students' critical thinking skills obtained an average score of 87 on the Post-test and 71 on the Pre-test. A sig value of 0.251 < α (0.05) was obtained using the Paired Sample T-test at α (0.05) in data analysis SPSS 22 for Windows. Research findings show that the Pre-test and Post-test are significantly different. Apart from that, a medium category N-Gain value was obtained of 0.543. This shows that the use of the Webbed integrated learning model has an impact on student's critical thinking abilities both before and after treatment. Then in several aspects of critical thinking, such as argument evaluation and information analysis, women tend to show higher levels than men, with the average score for women's argument evaluation being 78% while men's is 72%. However, in other aspects such as information synthesis and making conclusions, men tend to stand out, with men's average information synthesis score being 80% while women's is 76%.

Conflict at school can be caused by conflicting demands, needs, drives, or desires. If conflicts can be resolved well, cooperative relationships will improve, and levels of trust and productivity will increase. Conflicts arise due to ineffective conflict management. Failure to manage conflict hinders the achievement of shared goals and disrupts the dynamics of interpersonal relationships. The research was carried out using a qualitative study method (Single Instrumental Case Study), which is a type of case research as an example to get an overview of problems and prevent individuals from improving their performance. By focusing on natural and naturalistic phenomena that exist in schools and carried out by observation in the field with strategies for Proper conflict management teachers' stress can be reduced and their ability to handle conflict at school can be improved. This can help create a more harmonious and productive school environment for all parties involved. Interpersonal conflicts between colleagues must be resolved quickly so as not to damage work relationships, affect mental well-being, and even hurt the quality of teaching. Conflict between co-workers in schools can hardly be avoided completely, but effective conflict management can help reduce the impact of stress arising from such conflict. Interpersonal conflict between co-workers can have a significant impact on teacher stress in the educational environment.

Implementation of Educational Supervision to Improve the Quality of Education in Madrasah

The decline in the quality of education is caused by various factors, including unprofessional educational supervision, limitations in learning activities, and the practice of corruption, collusion, and nepotism. Ineffective supervision results in a gap between supervisors and teachers, so that the quality of learning is not optimal. In addition, the practice of cheating in national exams which is still rampant is also a serious concern. To overcome this problem, hard work is needed from educational thinkers and practitioners to improve the quality of education through professional supervision and breaking the chain of corruption. This study aims to identify problems in the education system in Indonesia and emphasize the importance of supervision in improving the quality of education. The research method used is a literature study, with analysis of various secondary data sources such as books and journals. The results of the study indicate that effective supervision can improve the quality of the learning process and learning environment, so there needs to be a focus on improving teacher skills through professional guidance.

The Influence of Principal Transformational Leadership on Teacher Performance and Learning Quality in Schools

This study found that principals who adopt transformational leadership can improve morale, staff satisfaction, and student engagement in the educational process. This leadership also plays a role in building a positive, inclusive, and collaborative school culture, which supports the achievement of educational goals effectively. This study confirms that attention to individual well-being, appropriate support, and open and responsive communication between principals and teachers are essential to improving teacher performance and job satisfaction. The results show that a positive principal leadership style can improve teacher productivity and job satisfaction, which in turn has an impact on improving the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. However, the implementation of transformational leadership faces challenges such as lack of understanding of the concept and uncertainty about the changes needed. Therefore, a clear understanding and adequate resources are needed to support teacher professional development and the implementation of consistent and effective leadership strategies. Perception of Students on the Implementation of Indonesian Language Learning Model Based on Environment and Disaster Mitigation

Indonesia is a disaster-prone region. Data from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) shows that the number of disasters in Indonesia has continued to increase up to 2021. Therefore, comprehensive risk management of disaster threats is urgently needed to reduce losses due to disasters. One way to achieve this is by implementing an environment-based and disaster mitigation learning model in Indonesian language education. This simple study aims to examine students' perceptions of the implementation of an environment-based and disaster mitigation learning model in Indonesian language education. This research is quantitative using a descriptive method. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire distributed to 47 students. About 74% of respondents had experienced a disaster and indicated low disaster preparedness when it occurred. The percentage of positive perceptions towards environment-based and disaster mitigation language learning was higher among students who had experienced disasters, at 88.5%. Although this is only a 3.5% difference from the positive perceptions of the 26% of students who had not experienced natural disasters, it shows that those who have experienced disasters and felt the direct impact of natural disasters consider the implementation of an environment-based and disaster mitigation Indonesian language learning model to be more important and necessary.

Literature Study: Utilization and Effective Management of School Operational Assistance (SOA) Funds

The distribution of School Operational Assistance (SOA) funds by the government has so far not been able to fully overcome existing education problems. Ironically, the misuse and ineffective allocation of SOA funds adds to new problems. To prevent ineffective use of SOA funds, school principals are required to be competent as managers in the process of planning, organizing, determining direction, monitoring, and providing information in the form of financial reports. The method used in this research is literature study, namely the collection and analysis of information published in books and journals that are relevant and support the research topic and other written sources. Financial management in an educational institution aims to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of financial use, increase financial accountability and transparency, and reduce misuse of the education budget. To achieve effective results, the application of management principles in managing SOA funds is very important, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling. Technical guidelines for the use of regular SOA funds must be carried out based on the principles of flexibility, effectiveness, efficiency, accountability, and transparency.
